Bigg Veazey
Julie Bigg Veazey is a member of the New Hampshire Writers’ Project
and the Skimmilk Farm writer’s workshop and has published Merrymeeting,
a book of poems. Her short stories and poetry have appeared in Yankee
Magazine, Down East Magazine, Compass Rose and other literary publications.
At age ten she moved from New York City to Turner Center, Maine and attended private
girls’ boarding schools in New England during the 1950s. Active
in education for thirty-five years, Julie Bigg Veazey now divides her
time between New Hampshire and the Dominican Republic where she is working
on her next novel. |
